Got Questions?

We have Answer's

How long does concealer last?

Most concealers have a shelf life of 6 to 12 months after opening. Liquid formulas in tubes with doe-foot applicators tend to last longer than potted creams. Look for the jar symbol on the packaging that states the "Period After Opening" (e.g., 6M, 12M).

Can I use concealer without foundation?

Absolutely! This is a key technique for a "no-makeup" makeup look. Just apply concealer only where you need it—under the eyes, around the nose, on any blemishes and blend it out well into your bare skin. Set it lightly with powder to help it last.

Should I apply concealer before or after foundation?

This is the most common question! The general rule is after foundation. The logic is that your foundation will often cover a lot of the discoloration, meaning you'll need less concealer, which results in a more natural, less cakey finish. However, if you're color correcting with a green or peach corrector, that layer should go before foundation.

How do I choose the right shade for my under-eyes?

For covering dark circles, your concealer should ideally match your skin tone exactly to neutralize the darkness. For brightening, choose a shade that is one to two shades lighter than your foundation. Be careful not to go too light, as it can create a stark, grayish "reverse panda" effect.

DULL SKIN? No Problem

Achieve a Flawless Look with our Multifunctional Covers, Brighteners & Correctors. Whether it's from rosacea, broken capillaries, redness around the nose, or a fresh blemish, a concealer with a green or yellow undertone can color-correct and neutralize the red before you apply your foundation or skin-tone concealer.
